Bank Mitra has many agents who act as an individual agent of the bank. And these agents work at the places where it is not possible to establish a branch of the bank.

2. What are the duties and responsibilities of a CSP agent?

The primary duties of these agents are to help citizens to open a saving bank account under different government schemes and policies like “Pradhan Mantri Jan DhanYojna”. Acceptance of cash deposit and cash withdrawal in order to process “Kishan Credit Card” is also required. Direct benefits transfer and Subsidy transfer etc are also provided.

3. Are there any benefits to becoming CSP?

It is a paid job and it gives one the opportunity to work with banks to provide banking services which entitle you to the commission on it. A CSP agent can earn a basic pay of Rs. 2000 to Rs. 5000 per month on certain conditions.

4. What requirements are needed for becoming a CSP agent?

Computer (Desktop or Laptop), Internet connectivity, Printer, Scanner, and Minimum 100 SQFT office space should be readily available to become a CSP agent. If anyone fulfils these requirements can apply for this job.

5. What are the qualifications to become a CSP?

Any individual or institution who is above 18 and has passed 10th standard can apply for this job. All they need is to have basic computer knowledge. Though experience is not mandatory in this sector but preferred.
